Advanced widget tests (for developers) ↓

Developer Tools test section

Enable Console logs / Network requests / Custom metadata in this project's Settings > Developer tools, then use the button below before submitting feedback.

Fires a console.error/warn/log, a failed fetch with username/password/token in the body and headers (to test Network requests + Keys excluded redaction — matches the default excluded keys), and Pinmarks.setMetadata() (to test Custom metadata). Then open the widget and submit — check the feedback item's Console Logs, Failed Network Requests, and Custom Metadata sections.

Sensitive Data Masking test section

Capture a screenshot with the widget while this section is on screen to verify .sf-exclude, .sf-mask, .sf-unmask and password inputs.

sf-exclude — this whole block should be replaced by a gray/white pattern box

sf-mask — John Doe, john.doe@example.com, +91 98765 43210 (should turn into block characters)

sf-mask with a nested sf-unmask span that must stay readable in the middle

Capture Behind-Login Content test section

These avatars are only served while the demo cookie is set, like images behind a real login. Click "Log in", then capture a screenshot with the widget. With the setting off (Settings > Screen capture) the server-rendered screenshot shows broken avatars; with Capture Behind-Login Content on, they appear.

PinMarks is a visual website feedback tool for bug reporting, QA, and UAT. It lets anyone click on a live page to annotate issues — and automatically captures screenshots, browser, OS, URL, and console errors so developers have everything they need to reproduce and fix the bug.

PinMarks is built for product teams, QA engineers, developers, and agencies. Yes — you can use it for design feedback, content reviews, client approvals, and UAT, not just bug reporting.

Very easy. Drop a single script tag into your site — or use our WordPress or HubSpot plugin. Most teams are collecting their first feedback within 2 minutes of signing up. No developer needed for the initial setup.

No. The PinMarks widget is lazy-loaded and runs entirely in the background — zero impact on your page performance or Core Web Vitals.

Yes. PinMarks is designed for exactly this. Your QA team or clients can annotate issues directly on the live site without needing an account. All feedback lands in one place with full technical context attached.

No. Anyone with access to your site can click the widget and submit feedback without signing up — perfect for client reviews and UAT sessions. Only your internal team members need a PinMarks account.
